Our Structure

Action for Sick Children (Scotland) is a Scottish Charity, registered with OSCR No SC006016 and a company limited by guarantee registered in Scotland NO 100114.

Action for Sick Children (Scotland) is governed by a voluntary Executive Committee whose members are also Directors of the Company. The Executive Committee of (currently) nine members meets every 6 to 8 weeks. Officebearers are appointed from our membership and consist of:

Chair
Vice Chair
Treasurer.

Various Project Advisory Groups report to the Executive Committee on the work of their project. These are: Community Play Specialist Advisory Group; Lanarkshire Self Management Project Advisory Group’ ‘Special Smiles’ Dental Project Advisory Group. 

An annual general meeting is held usually in September. All members are invited to attend.
